Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is both an internal and external self-assessment service guided and directed by counsel that inventories, assesses and evaluates, and recommends on all aspects of the organization’s or institution’s development function. Strategic planning is accomplished within the framework of total organizational planning and addresses these areas:

• Vision
• Purpose
• Critical strategic issues
• Goal setting
• Accountability
• Organizational structure, and strategy
• Personnel (volunteer and professional)
• Capacity
• Fundraising potential, relationships, and support services

The outcome and deliverables are a multi-year strategic development plan with recommendations for how to execute and monitor the plan.
